Aesthetics & Nail with ESL (Diploma) Program

This program has been approved by the registrar of the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training.
This program is designated for the people who are interested to be a professional esthetician and nail technician while developing English as their second language.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this program the successful student will have the ability to:
- Use the right tools and procedures to do manicure and pedicure
- Do tips and fill-ins with artificial nails and also nail art
- Do facial independently within a limited time
- Communicate politely with customers
- Understand customers’ needs
- Beauty Consultant, Spa Salon Esthetician, Mobile beautician
- Sales Representative for skin care products
- Sales Representative for make-up counter in department store
- Esthetics Instructor
- Nail specialist
Career Opportunities: Upon completion of this program the successful student has following career opportunities:
Admission Requirements:
(1) Must be a high School graduate OR mature student who reached the age of 19 years or older.
(2) Proof of English skills for ESL Applicants-pass on internal English proficiency test including writing and oral assessment. The passing grade is 50%.
(3) Submission of Doctor’s note to prove good health an normal hand an eye condition.
PROGRAM DURATION: 18 months
– Aesthetics: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 17:00 pm
– Nails: Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 am to 17:00 pm
– ESL: Monday to Thursday, 10:00 am to 16:00 pm
TERMS AND GRADING:
New term of Classes is open in January, March, June and September.
Assessment Methods
– Aesthetics and Nails: Written Exam (50%); Practical Exam (50%); Passing grade : 70%
– ESL: Quizzes and Business Projects
